During January-December 2021, East Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture, and Food Security (KPKP) Sub-agency had vaccinated 12,344 pets that have potential to transmit rabies.

East Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency's Livestock Section Acting Head (Plt), Irawati Harry Artharini stated, from January 3 to December 16, as many as 12,344 pets had been vaccinated against rabies. It achieved 160 percent of this year's target of 7,700 animals.
"We hope DKI Jakarta's free from rabies status can be maintained," she conveyed, Thursday (12/30).
From total 12,344 pets, her side had vaccinated 2,378 dogs, 9,863 cats, 42 monkeys, and 61 ferrets.
"We will continue to carry out rabies vaccination and even increase the target," she closed.
