The sidewalk repair work on Jalan I Gusti Ngurah Rai to Jalan Nusa Indah, Pondok Kopi, Duren Sawit with 454 meters length and 2.9 meters width has been completed.

Road and Bridge Division Head, Budi Cahyo mentioned, it is one of the regional strategic activities (KSD) of the East Jakarta Mayor.

He said, the sidewalk itself was located in the border area with Bekasi, West Java. Traffic in this area is always heavy every day, as it is in the access to the East Jakarta area. Moreover, it is also close to Klender Baru Train Station or Pondok Kopi.

"It is carried out, as most sidewalks are broken and slum. But, now, it has now been repaired and beautified. It's surely safe and comfortable for pedestrians," he explained, Friday (10/22).

According to him, it was realized through 2021 City Budget (APBD) amounting to Rp 1,618,354,000. It took around 150 days. The work point started from the front of Indomaret on Jalan I Gusti Ngurah Rai to the front of Pondok Kopi Islamic Hospital on Jalan Nusa Indah.
