The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) estimates that rain will blanket parts of Jakarta sky today, Sunday (9/26).

"Jakartans must be aware of the potential for rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds in East, West and South Jakarta at noon and the late afternoon," stated BMKG's official site.

West and East Jakarta are forecast to see light rain at noon; moderate rain in South Jakarta; cloudy in Central Jakarta; and clear cloudy in North Jakarta and Thousand Islands.

Entering at night, light rain is expected to pour in West, Central, South, East and North Jakarta, while moderate rain in Thousand Islands.

In early morning, light rain will hit North Jakarta and Thousand Islands, while cloudy in West, Central, South and East Jakarta.

Temperatures in five regions and Thousand Islands are predicted at 24 to 33 degrees Celsius with air humidity of 65 to 95 percent.
