Governor Anies Baswedan inaugurated 13 primary high officials under the Jakarta administration at Balai Agung, Jakarta City Hall, on Friday (8/20). One of them was Suharini Eliawati as Agency Head of Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security (KPKP) Agency.
Several things to focus on, namely food, environment and Jakpreneur
On that occasion, Eliawati said, she promised to give her best to run the tasks entrusted to her, including in relation to the mid-term regional development plan (RPJMD), 23 Governor's promises, and regional strategic activities (KSD).
"Several things to focus on, namely food, environment and Jakpreneur. We need to make a strategy, including by collaborating and emphasizing equitable development. However, our challenge is the assisted MSME actors who are heavily affected by the pandemic. This condition will continue but we have to grow the economy," she expressed.
Related with KSD conservation, the agency would cooperate with various parties who have the same purpose of preserving nature in Thousand Islands for survival and a better quality of life.
"In RPJMD, we eye a target to create a conservation area of 144 hectares in Thousand Islands, we still have homework until 2022, another 1.2 hectares of land, this is what we want to be realized with partners," she explained.
She was also focused on a work plan oriented towards food security. As is known, almost food in Jakarta depends on other regions until now.
"This is the challenge ahead, we'll see the instruments as often as possible starting from JakPangan, data on the market such as prices and stocks, then establish better coordination with food enterprises, including livestock development. It is impossible in Jakarta for us to build as much cultivation as possible without environmental sustainability," she added.
