The Central Jakarta Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency is routinely spraying disinfectant every day at 60 points spread over eight sub-districts.

This is a form of collaboration in curbing Covid-19 in Jakarta

Central Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-agency Head, those 60 points consisted of residential areas, houses of worship, traditional markets, public spaces and government offices.

"We do this to follow up on residents' requests through the RT/RW and urban village heads, market managers, house of w orship caretakers and SKPD heads," he stated, Thursday (6/30).

He explained that personnel were alerted to follow up on requests for disinfectant spray.

"The process is easy, no paperwork required. Applications that come in are immediately followed up by deploying firefighters to the location on the same day," he explained.

As for residential areas or locations under PPKM Mikro, his party would spray for three consecutive days.

"This is a form of collaboration in curbing Covid-19 in Jakarta," he stated.
