The Thousand Islands Regency administration is collaborating with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Blood Transfusion Unit to hold blood donation, which aims to commemorate the World Blood Donor Day. It is targeting to collect 75 bags from blood donors.  

Thousand Islands Regent, Junaedi said it was slated to be held on June 21 at the Mitra Praja Office, Sunter, North Jakarta.

"We ask for data on this activity for preparation thus it could run under health protocols to prevent the spread of Covid-19," he expressed, on the sidelines of the coordination meeting, Thursday (6/10).

Thousand Islands PMI Chairman, Natsir Sabara added that the target was indeed not much, as it was held under strict health protocols.

"We are making preparations from now on thus everything can run smoothly," he stated.
