The Thousand Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency is cleaning up water channels in RT 01, 03, 05, 06 and 07/RW 03, Panggang Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands Sub-district.
We have managed to collect five sacks containing mud and garbage today
Thousand Islands SDA Sub-agency Head, Hendri said those channels were cleaned to anticipate inundation when rain occurred.
"They (channels) are cleaned as before ranging from 50 to 60 centimeters depth," he expressed, Monday (5/24).
To conduct it, his side had involved around seven personnel at the location.
"We have managed to collect five sacks containing mud and garbage today," he stated.
