Tanjung Priok Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Unit quickly handled inundation on Jalan Danau Sunter Barat, Sunter Agung Urban Village, Tanjung Priok Sub-district, North Jakarta.
Inundation was caused by high rainfall since this early morning
Tanjung Priok Sub-district SDA Unit Head, Deny Tri Hendarto mentioned, his side deployed 10 personnel to handle 10 centimeter-high inundation on the road.
"Currently, inundation has completely receded. Both pedestrian and vehicle can pass normally," he informed, Tuesday (5/18).
According to him, inundation was caused by high rainfall since this early morning as well as high tide that also caused tidal flood.
"We drain it using 2 floating pumps with capacity 50 liters per minute for each units and 2 pumps from BMW park with capacity 150 liters per minute and 200 liters per minute," he explained.
