The Thousand Islands Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-agency is conducting a massive socialization about the visit requirements for tourists who want to visit the Thousand Islands.

Tourists must show a negative COVID-19 certificate

According to Puji Astuti, Sub-agency Head of Thousand Islands Tourism and Creative Economy, it was carried out directly to travel agents, resort owners, homestay owners and tour service actors.

It was also promoted via social media, messaging applications, banners installed at the gates of departure and arrival piers such as Marina Pier, Kaliadem Pier, Rawasaban Pier and Tanjung Pasir Tangerang Pier, as well as on residential island piers and resorts in the Thousand Islands.

"Tourists must show a negative COVID-19 certificate," he expressed, Tuesday (4/20).

By so, he hoped that tourists could prepare the necessary requirements before traveling to the Thousand Islands.

"We will continue to carry out monitoring and firm policies with regional apparatus organizations (OPD) and related units to contain the spread of COVID-19," he stated.
