Eight PPSU personnel were deployed for post-flood cleaning at Ikatan Koperasi Pegawai Negeri (IKPN) Housing Complex, Jalan RC Veteran Raya, RT 03/04, Bintaro Urban Village, Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta.

Bintaro Urban Village Head, Satia mentioned, PPSU personnel were deployed to clean up the remaining mud sedimentation from the channels.

"Because of flood, there is still mud sedimentation in water channels," he added, Saturday (2/27).

Formerly, his side also received assistance from SDA Sub-agency Task Force, Bina Marga, Satpol PP, and Gulkarmat to clean up the mud when the flood had receded. But, there was still mud left in channels.

"PPSU personnel clean up the remaining mud in channels using hoes and shovels," he explained.

After the area is completely cleaned, he expected water channels can run optimally and the environment can be always clean.

"By dredging the remaining mud, channels' function can return to normal," he conveyed
