Preventing landslides, PPSU personnel planted elephant grass in slope area of Ceger Mini Reservoir on Jl. SMPN 160 RT 02/05 Ceger, Cipayung, East Jakarta.

Ceger Urban Village Head, Suratno conveyed, elephant grass is planted not only to prevent landslides but also to beautify the mini reservoir area that cover an area of 970 square meters. Planting i s carried out in stages from Thursday (2/18).

"Every day we deploy 12 PPSU personnel to plant elephant grass in slope area of reservoir in hope the planting work can finish as soon as possible," he stated, Tuesday (2/23).

In initial phase, personnel plant the grass on slope area of reservoir. After that, planting will be continued to top area or track for walking.

"We are targeting slope sides have been covered with grass next week," he said.
