Dozens of tourist sites in Jakarta are closed to visitors starting today to January 25 following the reinstatement of large-scale social restrictions (PSBB).

It aims to contain the spread of COVID-19

Jakarta Culture Agency (Disbud) Head Iwan Henry Wardhana said those tourist sites are Jakarta History Museum, Taman Prasasti Museum, MH Thamrin Museum, Joeang'45 Museum, Fine Arts and Ceramics Museum, Wayang Museum, Textile Museum, Maritime Museum, PBB Setu Babakan and Si Pitung House.

Then Onrust Island, Cipir Island, Kelor Island, Taman Ismail Marzuki, Jakarta Arts Building, Wayang Orang Bharata, Benyamin Sueb Park, Miss Tjitjih Arts Building, Dance and Karawitan Condet Laboratory, etc.

"It aims to contain the spread of COVID-19," he said.

It is in accordance with Governor Decree number 19/2021 and Gubernatorial Regulation number 3/2021 on Implementation of Regional Regulation number 2/2020 on Prevention of COVID-19.

"Its implementation is in line with Gubernatorial Regulation number 3/2021 and number 19/2021," he stated.
