The crossing channel which collapsed on Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur on Thursday (1/7) yesterday, wa s completely repaired by personnel of Central Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency, on Friday (1/8).

Maintenance Division Head Glen Santista said the channel collapsed along three meters due to age. To repair it, he involved 20 blue troops.

"Alhamdulillah, right now the water can already flow smoothly into Ciliwung River," he told.

Gambir Urban Village Head Ahmad Eman Sulaiman, appreciated the repair work.

"We made a report on January 7, and they immediately followed up it," he stated.
