Jakarta Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service (PMPTSP) Agency has issued 111,142 Micro and Small Business Permits (IUMKs) through Licensing Relaxation Program from August until November 27.

Jakarta PMPTSP Agency Head, Benni Agus Candra conveyed, in the midst of Covid-19 pandemic, he conducted stimulus to recover MSME business. His side directly visited business locations and simplified IUMK licensing procedures and accelerated permits issuance.
"During economic recovery period, IUMK Licensing Relaxation Program is provided by utilizing licensing shuttle service with motorcycle (AJIB) to pick up documents in MSE locations. As of today, we have issued 111,142 IUMKs with turnover Rp 677 billion," he mentioned, Friday (11/27).
Technically, AJIB officers offer assistance for IUMK submission, start from applicants send documents to apply for issuance until the permit is issued. Applicants only need to show ID card (KTP) and let AJIB officer to take photo of applicant and place of business. Then AJIB officer will input the data to Jakarta Government IUMK licensing system.
"Urban Village PMPTSP Unit Head will check administrative and technical research on IUMK permits for approval/rejection. In average, permit can be issued within hours or maximum one working day," he explained.
The IUMK Licensing Relaxation Program was appreciated by Indonesian Commerce and Industry Chamber (Kadin) Deputy Head for International Relation, Shinta Kamdani.
According to her, licensing relazation could give positive impacts to business actors which support economic recovery, especially for MSMEs.
"Ease of licensing is very important, business actors surely find it helpful with ease of licensing in Jakarta," she said.
