The North Jakarta City Government (Pemkot) won the award for the category of cross-sectoral coordination in the implementation of non-communicable diseases (PTM) and the Regional Head in the PTM Integrated Health Counseling Post (Posbindu) area from the Health Minister Agus Putranto.
The current challenge is the pandemic which requires collaboration from all elements in an effort to break the chain of its spread
The role of this award was announced at the peak of the 56th National Health Day (HKN) commemoration event with the theme Unity of Determination Towards a Healthy Indonesia.
Its award was directly handed over to the North Jakarta Mayor Sigit Wijatmoko and Posbindu Up Normal, Penjaringan Subdistrict as representatives of Jakarta who have participated in supporting health development.
North Jakarta Mayor Sigit Wijatmoko stated health was not only a matter for the health team, but also for all sectors to improve the degree of public health.
"The current challenge is the pandemic which requires collaboration from all elements in an effort to break the chain of its spread," he expressed, Thursday (11/12).
Therefore he hoped that this achievement could be a motivator for all parties in North Jakarta to do their best and benefit the community.
In the meantime, North Jakarta Health Agency Sub-agency Head Yudi Dimyati explained, various activities to commemorate the 56th HKN was in accordance with the pandemic situation such as the distribution of masks to the public and joint health promotion across sectors regarding the 3M protocol (Wearing Masks, Washing Hands and Maintaining Physical Distancing).
"Our hope is all pandemics will pass quickly and we can return to our normal activities," he stated.
