Thousand Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency has completed the water channel work project in RT 03/01, Kelapa Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands Sub-district.

According to Abdul Rouf, Sub-agency Head of Thousand Island SDA, the channel was made along 45 meters with 36 centimeters width and 50 centimeters depth.

"It is equipped with eight control tubs measuring 50x50 centimeters with 1.5 meters depth," he expressed, Wednesday (11/11).

He explained its existence was very important in order to anticipate puddles and connect all household channels to the main channel to keep the environment clean.

"By so this area can be free of puddles," he stated.
