PT. Transjakarta expands the service by launching 3 new routes; TR 1 (Gondangdia Station - Senen), TR 2 (Gondangdia Station - Balai Kota) and JAK 10A (Gondangdia Station - Cikini).

PT. Transjakarta Operational Director, Prasetia Budi mentioned, those new 3 routes will expand Transjakarta service coverage which has reached 83 percent by 2019.

"We expect the additional 3 routes can serve people's mobility, especially in term of transportation. For those routes, Transjakarta provides total 24 fleets which consist of 8 medium buses for TR 1 route (Gondangdia Station - Senen), 4 medium buses for TR 2 (Gondangdia Station - Balai Kota), and 12 Mikrotrans fleets for JAK 10A route (Gondangdia Station - Cikini)," he explained in a written statement on Tuesday (11/10).

He informed, those 3 routes operate on working days, Monday-Friday at 5 AM-10 PM . Within two weeks, customers who use TR 1 and TR 2 services will be not charged or free. After the free period, customers will be charged Rp 3,500 per trip.

"Customers are required to tap in and tap out using Tap on Bus (TOB) machine in each fleets. While for JAK 10A Mikrotrans, customers can still ride it for free using JakLingko card," he said.

During transitional PSBB period, he continued, Transjakarta ensured to sterilize all bus fleets periodically using disinfectant liquid.

Moreover, Transjakarta also limits bus capacity maximum 60 passengers for articulated bus, maximum 30 passengers for large bus, and maximum 15 passengers for small bus.

"We hope customers can cooperate by complying the applicable health procedures to stop COVID-19 spread, especially in Transjakarta area," he stated.

Here are details of 3 new Transjakarta routes:

1. TR 1 (Gongdangdia Station - Senen)

Route to Senen; Gondangdia Station - Kompleks AL - Kanisius - Telkom - Gambir 1 - Gambir 2 - Istiqlal - Lapangan Banteng - Wahidin - Senen Market - Senen Station.

Route to Gondangdia Station; Senen Station - Atrium 1 - Atrium 2 - RSPAD - Museum of National Awakening - PMI - Tugu Tani - School Bus Stop - BRI - SMU Bus Stop - Gondangdia Station 1.

2. TR2 (Gondangdia Station – Balai Kota)

Route to Balai Kota; Gondangdia Station 1 - Kompleks AL - BRI - Kanisius - Telkom - Balai Kota.

Route to Gondangdia Station; Balai Kota - IRTI - Wisma Antara - BUMN - Dewan Pers Building - DPRD - Gondangdia Station 2 – Gondangdia Station 1.

3. JAK 10A (Gondangdia Station - Cikini)

Gondangdia Station - Kompleks AL - Kanisius - Telkom - Gambir 2 – Kemperindag - Tugu Tani - School Bus Stop - Bapindo - Gondangdia Station.
