Tebet Station area, South Jakarta will be made more beautiful, tidy and comfortable for citizens using mass transportation.

South Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency Head Budi Setiawan said it was carried out to optimize intermodal integration for commuters accessing rail transportation.

"We also gear up for a special route to switch to other transportation, such as the Transjakarta bus, online motorcycle taxi and public minivan," he told, Friday (11/6).

He explained it had been ongoing since Monday (11/2) that was under control by the MRT Jakarta, PT KAI and a technical team from PT Jakon. Then the leading sector lies in the Tr ansportation Agency.

"Tebet Station will be styled like Tanah Abang Station," he said.

Even the existence of traders, trash bins and other infrastructure would also be arranged to make it more beautiful and tidy.

"We target it to be completed on December 22," he stated.
