Tanah Sereal Urban Village Head Suharti expressed as many as 20 PPSU personnel alerted to conduct a routine cleanup action every day in 15 RWs. They divided into two teams.
"In a day, we can touch four spots, depending on the length of the drain and some drains that are prioritized to work on," she told, Monday (10/26).
She explained it was carried out manually using hoes, sacks and equipped with a jack hammer to tear down the drain's manhole cover (inrit).
"It is done to accommodate water in large quantities," she expressed.
After it was completed, she urged locals not to throw trash carelessly.
"Hopefully it can be completed soon thus we can minimize puddles optimally," she hoped.
