Residents living in RT 02 and 03/RW 01, Pondok Pinang Urban Village, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta assisted by joint personnel take part in a cleanup action in two RTs today, Sunday (10/25).
Hopefully it can smoothen water flow in the drain and minimize fallen tree in our region
Pondok Pinang Urban Village Head Rizki Januar said that those joint personnel consisted of PPSU (24 personnel), Environmental Sub-agency (12 personnel) and Bina Marga and Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency (16 personnel), including 82 locals and 3 trucks.
"It is done to anticipate puddles and floods in the rainy season," he expressed.
He explained they were seen cleaning up the drains, garbage, grass, bushes and remove dense trees and branches.
"Hopefully it can smoothen water flow in the drain and minimize fallen tree in our region," he stated.
