Jakarta Empowerment, Children Protection, and Population Control (PPAPP) Agency built cooperation with TNI and Police to achieve family planning (KB) service targets.

Jakarta PPAPP Agency Head, Tuty Kusumawati mentioned, through collaboration with TNI Manunggal KB Kesehatan (TMKK) in June-October 2020, her side has achieved 225.51 percent or 169,664 acceptors of target 75,237 accept ors.

"We appreciate the support and assistance from Kodam, Kodim, Babinsa, and Babinkamtibmas which made the Family Development, Population, and Family Planning (Bangga Kencana) Program is successful in Jakarta," she conveyed, Saturday (10/17).

Her side also promoted series of virtual events to the acceptors, such as National Priority Program for the First 1,000 Days of Life to 6,892 pregnant women and mothers with children aged under two years, Family Life Preparation Socialization for adolescents which carried out to 62 Youth Family Building (BKR) Groups.

She explained that Covid-19 pandemic didn't stop social service activities because most communication, information and education (KIE) socialization activities, both Bangga Kencana Program, and violence prevention programs for women and children were held virtually through social media.

Meanwhile, KB service are still available at health facilities by implementing health protocols.

"Hopefully this activities can be a moment to work together, strengthen our determination, and support each other in preventing Covid-19 spread," she closed.
