The East Jakarta Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency has started cleaning the drain along Jalan Halim Perdana Kusuma, RT 08/08, Kebon Pala, Makasar.

"We're doing this to follow up on requests from the urban village," stated Fire and Rescue Division Head, Gatot Sulaeman, Wednesday (10/7).

He explained the spraying process of the 25-meter drain was carried out by deploying one fire engine and four firefighters.

"Hopefully the water can flow smoothly," he hoped.
