At least eight people have been subject to social work sanctions for breaking the large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) rules in Jagakarsa area, South Jakarta.
The operation is centered at Gg 100, which is the border between Tanjung Barat and Lenteng Agung urban villages
Jagakarsa Sub-district Had Alamsah said the operation involved 70 officers who consisted of Satpol PP, urban village, Transportation Sub-agency, army and police, FKDM and PKK cadres.
"The operation is centered at Gg 100, which is the border between Tanjung Barat and Lenteng Agung urban villages," he explained, Thursday (9/24).
He continued it was done to increase public awareness thus they are disciplined in applying health protocols in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
"Hopefully it can increase public's awareness to always wear masks when doing activities outside the home," he concluded.
