Along January - August, as many as 15,796 trees alongside artery roads, protocol roads, parks and residential areas across 10 sub-districts were pruned by officers of South Jakarta Park and Urban Forest Sub-agency, on Wednesday (9/9).

Of 15,796 trees, he stated, 1,079 of them were in Cilandak Sub-district, 1,223 were in Jagakarsa Sub-district, 999 were in Kebayoran Baru Sub-district, 1,139 were in Kebayoran Lama Sub-district and 838 were in Mampang Prapatan Sub-district.
Then 1,195 were in Pancoran Sub-district, 1,501 were in Pasar Minggu Sub-district, 1,049 were in Pesanggrahan Sub-district, 1,140 were in Setiabudi Sub-district and 1,098 were in Tebet Sub-district. In detailed, around 2,137 trees were pruned by the buser team and 2,398 were the park team.
"Hopefully it can create a sense of safe and comfortable to residents and motorists," he hoped.
