City's JakWIFI program which provides free internet access to residents is considered very beneficial. With this program, Jakarta residents can save up to hundreds thousands rupiah.

Nur Fitri, a resident of RT 05/02, Galur Urban Village, Senen, Central Jakarta assessed, before JakWIFI installed at RW 02 secretariat office, she had to spend up to Rp 500,000 to buy data plan thus her three children could follow distance learning.

"I can spend Rp 500,000 for data plan in a month for my three children. Two are twins in the second grade of junior high school and their older brother in third grade of high school," said Nur who worked as a casual laborer, Tuesday (9/1).

At this time, she admitted, it was very difficult to meet the needs of her children to access internet since her husband was unemployed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Our income is also uncertain. Alhamdulillah (Thank God) this free internet program is very helpful," she expressed.

Similar thing also conveyed by Siti Junariah, resident of RT 03/01 Galur Urban Village. She said that JakWIFI really helped her to save money for the family. Because in a week, she usually spends around Rp 50,000 to buy data plan for her two children.

"The pandemic has decreased our income. But the burdens have even increased. Alhamdulillah, after receiving information on free internet facility, I immediately told my children to take advantage of it," she closed.
