Sooner or later, the South Jakarta administration is set to arrange as many as 469 street vendors (PKL) occupying Jalan Raya Ragunan, Jalan Raya Pasar Minggu and Jalan Terminal Baru, Pasar Minggu Sub-district.
They will be relocated to Pasar Minggu Market belongs to Perumda Pasar Jaya
South Jakarta Deputy Mayor Isnawa Adji said those 469 PKL were consisting of 209 vendors on Jalan Ragunan and Jalan Raya Pasar Minggu, as well as 260 others on Jalan Terminal Baru. Generally they mostly sell vegetables, fruits and food.
"They will be relocated to Pasar Minggu Market belongs to Perumda Pasar Jaya in order to parse traffic jam," he expressed, Thursday (8/27).
He admitted its relocation was indeed not easy and would be conducted gradually.
Pasar Minggu Pasar Jaya Perumda Vice Head Syarif expressed all the blank spots would be rerecorded so they could sell in the market.
"We will do it soon," he said.
