The North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire and Rescue Sub-agency's Sector 7 firefighters once again sprayed disinfectant in public facilities and infrastructure of residential areas in Kelapa Island Urban Village, on Monday (8/3).

"It is carried out to prevent the spread of COVID-19 after several locations are used for slaughtering qurban animals," expressed North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire and Rescue Sub-agency's Sector 7 Head, Buang Miharja.

At the location, his side deployed four firefighters assisted by PMI volunteers plus two units of sprayer, as well as task forces and urban village apparatuses.

"Today we spend at least 20 liters of disinfectant liquid," he stated.
