7 personnel from Central Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture, and Food Security (KPKP) Sub-agency checked sacrificial animals (qurban)'s health and condition of its organs at Istiqlal Mosque, Sawah Besar.

Central Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency Acting Head (Plt), Suharini Eliawati mentioned, qurban animals health examination carried out from 9 AM to 12 PM
at Istiqlal Mosque. There were total 35 qurban animals, consisting 20 cows and 15 goats checked."We carry out post mortem and ante mortem examinations on qurban animals at the location," she informed, Saturday (8/1).
Before qurban animals are slaughtered, it should be examined first which is known as ante mortem examination, where personnel check its age, physical health, including the mouth condition. After being slaughtered, personnel conduct post mortem examination by checking its innards such as liver, spleen, heart, and lungs.
Furthermore, her side also checked the implementation of health protocols during the slaughtering process. Such as checking whether the location provided hand washing facilities or not, and making sure the committee wear mask and spray disinfectant before and after the slaughtering.
"It turns out all health protocols have been implemented well," she conveyed.
