Lampung Province legislators, conducted a work visit (kunker) to the Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) in order to study the management of Regional-owned Enterprises (BUMD) mechanisms for the granting of Regional Government Capital Participation (PMPD) budget, on Tuesday (7/7).
" Hopefully our plan can contribute to increasing our regional revenue"
Noverisman Subing, Vice Chairperson of Lampung DPRD's Commission III said that the visit aimed to share information about BUMD considering they would add a new enterprise in the tourism sector.
"Hopefully our plan can contribute to boosting our regional revenue," he expressed.
According to him, many things could be adopted from this work visit, like the matter of the PMPD granting process in Jakarta, which was processed on the condition of prudence through commission meetings.
Responding on this matter, one of DPRD members Hasan Basri Umar uttered that its process in Jakarta was through enterprises a performance evaluation meeting at the commission level before being approved at the Budget Committee (Banggar) and approved through a plenary session.
"So they received our input earlier, all this time PMPD approval in Lampung is without commission meeting," he closed.
