South Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency deployed 5 personnel to spray disinfectant in four worship places in Menteng Dalam Urban Village, Tebet, on Wednesday (6/24).

In this chance, Gulkarmat personnel disinfected Nurul Hidayah Mosque at Kompleks Bank Indonesia (BI) housing at RW 08, Jamiyyatul Iman Mosque on Jalan Menteng Pulo IX, Asy Syarif Mosque on Jalan Flamboyan Raya, and Al Husnah Mosque on Jalan Rasamala III at RW 01.

"Disinfectant spraying is carried out from 10 AM to 2:30 PM ," informed Sukur Sarwono, South Jakarta Gulkarmat's Tebet Sub-district Sector VI Section Head.  

His personnel were equipped with backpack sprayer. It needed 4 kilograms of disinfectant liquid to spray those mosques.

"We sterilize indoor and outdoor areas of mosque. Hopefully, people can be comfortable in praying as well as avoided from COVID-19," he mentioned.
