Tidung Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands, received 1,623 packages of 30-kg rice from the Jakarta Provincial Government, Saturday (6/13).

Tidung Island Urban Village Head Hafsah said his side had cooperated with security personnel to distribute the assistance door to door to comply with physical distancing rules.

"It will be distributed to those who are entitled according to the data," he expressed.

Tidung Island Urban Village, RT 03/01 Chairperson Agus Saelani said that he was very grateful that the government kept distributing social aid amid COVID-19 pandemic.

"This helps lighten them in meeting daily needs," he stated.
