Within May, Central Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency has repaired 36 water channels in four sub-districts.

Central Jakarta SDA Sub-agency's Maintenance Section Head, Glen Santista conveyed, his side repaired channels in Tanah Abang, Cempaka Putih, Johar Baru and Menteng area.

"Total 36 channels have been repaired within May," he added, Thursday (6/4).

According to him, total channels length reached 585,626 meters. His side also dredged mud with total volume for about 859,237 cubic meters.

In the midst of COVID-19 pandemic, his side equipped his personnel with masks, gloves, boots, and long-sleeved shirts.

"We also instruct them to maintain physical distancing at least one meter," he said.
