South Jakarta Environment (LH) Sub-agency mentioned waste collected during Eid holiday, start from takbiran (Eid al-Fitr's eve) until D+2 of Eid, reached 480 tons.

South Jakarta LH Sub-agency Head, M. Amin stated, his side deployed 719 personnel together with 245 garbage trucks, pick ups, motor carts, compactors, shovel, and armroll vehicle to collect the waste.

"We collect 76 tons waste on takbiran night, 186 tons on D+1 of Eid, and 106 tons on D+2 of Eid. For today, we haven't recapitulated the data," he said, Wednesday (5/27).

According to him, waste production in South Jakarta has reduced by 10 percent from 1,600 tons into 1,440 tons a day.

"We keep coordinating with sub-district side thus all waste problems can be solved," he closed.
