Thousand Islands Regency through Thousand Islands Task Force Team for Acceleration of COVID-19 Handling continues to socialize Gubernatorial Regulation (Pergub) No. 41/2020 concerning Sanctions Imposition Against Violations in PSBB Implementation in Handling COVID-19 in DKI Jakarta.
We hope residents can comply with the regulations
Thousand Islands Task Force Team Leader, Husein Murad stated, task force teams from sub-district to island levels regularly socialize and educate residents in order to increase their awareness thus PSBB violations can be minimized.
"We hope residents can comply with the regulations," he conveyed after holding video conference for evaluation meeting of the Task Force for Acceleration of COVID-19 Handling together with Jakarta Governor on Thursday (5/14).
According to him, Thousand Islands residents are open and receptive. Moreover, it is related to their safety and health.
"We will be strict to impose sanctions for those who violate the regulations. But first we need to build their awareness," he asserted.
Regarding COVID-19 cases in Thousand Islands, he informed, currently 4 of 6 urban villages in 2 sub-districts are still free from COVID-19. Those are Untung Jawa Island Urban Village, Pari Island Urban Village, Panggang Island Urban Village, and Harapan Island Urban Village.
"Five residents who are being treated in Wisma Atlet Kemayoran are getting better. We hope they can be recovered soon and returned to their families," he closed.
