A joint personnel of health division, Fire and Rescue Sub-agency, Satpol PP and civil servant began to spray disinfectant liquid on eleven settlement islands spread over six urban villages in Thousand Islands, on Thursday (3/26).

"The first action is conducted from RW 02 area Tidung Island Urban Village, precisely from the front of urban village office up to Jembatan Cinta (love bridge) location," expressed Thousand Island Vice Regent, Junaedi who also serves Chairman of Thousand Islands Covid-19 Quick Handling Team.

Despite the coronavirus case is zero, maximum prevention efforts keeps being intensified by involving all parties, including asking for awareness of citizens to stay healthy, consume nutritious food, maintain cleanliness, routinely wash hands with soap.

"Including promote social distancing and avoid physical contact, as well as do not leave the house or the islands without urgent interests," he stressed.
