The City Secretary Saefullah held a technical meeting on flood prevention and handling at Manggarai Sluice Gate, Jalan Tambak, Central Jakarta, together with the ranks of Ciliwung-Cisadane Flood Control Office (BBWSCC) and Regional Device Organization (OPD).

They also visited the Sunter River in RW 14, Cipinang Muara Urban Village, Jatinegara Sub-district, East Jakarta and the East Flood Canal (KBT).

"It is done to synchronize and check existing data with real conditions in the field. We want the best steps as a long-term solution," he expressed, Sunday (3/1).

During the meeting, there were a number of attention focuses such as, river widening and dredging, and land acquisition for Sunter Riverbank in Cipinang Muara.

"Despite the flood occurs or not, we continue to look for the best anticipation," he said.
