The Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) Chairman Prasetio Edi Marsudi accompanied by his partner Zita Anjani, visited a number of flooded areas in the capital, on Tuesday (2/25).

Based on the visit results, his party urged the Water Resources (SDA) Agency to optimally normalize drainage and waterways.

"This is very important to smoothen water flow," he expressed, at the location, jalan Pintu Besi, Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta.

He also wanted the operation of mobile pumps to optimally anticipate the occurrence of floods.

"It needs fast and appropriate steps, there must be immediate action," he closed.
