This year, West Jakarta Culture Sub-department plans to provide arts and culture courses in 57 RPTRAs and 3 public housing units. These courses are open to the public.

West Jakarta Culture Sub-department Head, Ahmad Syaropi conveyed, his side will provide traditional dance courses, martial arts, painting, marawis, hadroh, and kasidah while preserving cultures in the community.
"In 2020, we will hold arts and culture courses in 57 RPTRAs and 3 public housing units," he said, Tuesday (2/11).
According to him, his side invites three instructors who will teach three different courses every Saturday and Sunday for two hours per session.
"It is free, anyone who is interested in joining the courses can visit the location," he asserted.
He informed, those courses will be held from March to July 2020. Residents can choose to attend the classes they want.
"We hire the professional instructors. In the end of this year, participants will get a chance to show off their skills in the public such as in Car Free Day, park, and others," he stated.
