North Jakarta Environment (LH) Sub-department socializes apparatuses (ASN)s regarding DKI Jakarta Governor Instruction (Ingub) No. 107/2019 that regulates about Waste Reduction and Sorting in Jakarta Provincial Government Environment.

North Jakarta LH Sub-department Head, Achmad Hariyadi stated, this socialization was given during leadership meeting since it was considered more effective and on target. From that Ingub, ASNs are required to reduce and sort waste.

"For its monitoring, we collaborate with North Jakarta Regional Assistant Inspectorate. Although, it doesn't mention about sanction for those who violate it, but inspectorate will warn them," he asserted, Tuesday (1/28).

For example, waste reduction can be implemented by bringing tumbler and eco-friendly shopping bag.

"We need to support it because waste volume in Bantar Gebang has a limit," he closed.
