The East Jakarta Library and Archives Sub-agency Head, Eka Nuretika Putra has opened a joint learning afternoon program in her office, Jalan Jatinegara 3, Rawa Bunga Education Housing Complex, Jatinegara.

"We are open every Monday until Friday at 3.30 PM to 5.30 PM. So far we have brought tens of participants consisting of elementary students and local people," she expressed, Wednesday (9/11).

It aims to bring the library closer to the community and to increase interest in reading.

There are three materials given in this activity, namely Mathematics every Monday and Thursday, English every Tuesday and Wednesday and Quran recital every Monday, Thursday and Friday.

"It has been supported by teachers who are professional and competent in their field," she told.

As for the information, this program has been ongoing since July and will last until December. This is free of charge and has been participated by 20 until 30 participants.
