As many as 12,000 taxpayers of hotel, restaurant, entertainment and parking lot are targeted to implement an online local tax reporting system in order to know tax reporting and the amount of funds deposited to the local treasury.

"This software system is installed from a taxpayer payment computer connected to the BPRD office's system," expressed Jakarta Tax and Levy Agency (BPRD) Head, Faisal Syafruddin, when he monitored the online application system at one shopping center in Puri Kembangan, West Jakarta, Thursday (9/5).

In total, this year, five cities have implemented the system. If they reject this system, they would be sanctioned.

West Jakarta BPRD Sub-agency Head, Hendarto added that as many as 834 taxpayer a re targeted to implement it until by the end of this year.

"Previously 988 taxpayers also had implemented this system by cooperating with BRI and E-Post machine," he stated.
