1,460 Satpol PP personnel deployed to ensure security during the Jakarta Muharram Festival (JMF) today.

They are standby in several spots along Jalan MH. Thamrin until Sudirman, starts from Arjuna Wiwaha Chariot Statue to Bundaran HI and Dukuh Atas, Menteng, Central Jakarta.

"We deploy 1,460 personnel to standby in 15 spots," mentioned Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Arifin, Saturday (8/31).

Meanwhile , Jakarta Satpol PP Deputy Head, Sahat Parulian mentioned, personnel to guard several spots located in west and south sides of Bundaran HI, Kebon Sirih traffic light, Bangkok Bank, BI, west and south sides of Arjuna Wiwaha Chariot Statue, and Mandarin Hotel until Jl. Kendal.  

"Around 100-200 personnel are also deployed to guard VIP tents, while other 30-50 personnel in other locations," he informed.

Backup personnel are also prepared to support their comrades in needs. Moreover, his side also opens complaint and information posts in 10 locations to serve JMF visitors who need help.
