As many as 141 joint officers of North Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-agency, Indonesian Association of Veterinarians (PDHI) and Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) were involved to monitor and examine the health of qurban animals in 146 slaughterhouses in North Jakarta, Sunday (8/11). 

"It has been done since Eid al-Adha and will end tomorrow. So far qurban animals are healthy," said North Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-agency Head, Rita Nirmala, Monday (8/12).

Of 146 slaughtering houses, they monitored the 3,124 animals, consisting of 804 cows, 1 buffalo, 1,113 goats and 206 sheep . 

To optimize it, her side involved 5,050 workers as committees and officers of qurban from the animal slaughtering houses.
