North Jakarta to hold Wisata Pesisir Festival 2019 by the end of this August. It is planned to be held at Ancol Beach City Mall to commemorate Indonesian Independence Day while promoting tourist destinations in North Jakarta coastal areas.

"We will hold on August 30-31, 2019," stated North Jakarta Tourism and Culture Sub-department (Sudinparbud) Head, Rus Suharto, Thursday (8/8).

His side chooses Ancol to hold this event because Ancol is considered as one of 12 favorite tourist destinations in North Jakarta. This event will be enlivened with drum band performance, Betawi dances, fashion show, and Batik Pesisir brand which are promoted by some foreign celebrities.

"Hopefully, all sides includ ing from related SKPDs and UKPDs can cooperate well to ensure this event to run smoothly," he asserted.
