The North Jakarta Mayor, Syamsuddin Lologau revealed that his ranks are ready to smoothen the Jakarta Fashion & Food Festival (JFFF) 2019 in Kelapa Gading Mall area, which falls on August 7-8, 2019
"To optimize it, all regional working units (SKPD) have been asked to coordinate with the organizing committee for the success of the event. One of them is Transportation Agency to smoothen traffic flow," he expressed, Thursday (7/18).
Even the event itself is deemed able to promote the empowerment of the city's community economy and tourism.
"The committee will also involve the micro, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and promote Betawi culture," he explained.
PT Summarecon Center Director, Agung Tommy as the organizing committee explained that there are three programs, namely Fashion Festival which will be filled with Fashion Show and Fashion Village, Food Festival, which will be filled with Kampoeng Tempo Doeloe, Wonderful Culinary Expo and JFFF Run.
There are also exhibition of the works of the Jakarta and North Jakarta National Crafts Council (Dekranasda), as well as SMEs. All of these have met operational standards thus it has a big chance of increasing the community's economy.
"They are actually our coached members. We do coaching in order to maintain the value of beauty, cleanliness and hygiene thus it is worthy of being bought by visitors," he stated.
