West Jakarta Health Sub-department teaches children of asylum seekers who are staying temporarily at ex-Kodim Building, Jalan Begudur, Kalideres, about the important of washing hand regularly by providing health education on the location.

Through this activity, West Jakarta Health Sub-department Head, Kristi Whatini said her side teaches those children to wash hand properly since it is important as the first line of defense against the spread of many illnesses.
"We teach them how to wash hand properly, especially before eating, to avoid disease," she explained, Monday (7/15).
Her side also provides health post for asylum seekers to ensure their health condition. Until now, none of them were seriously ill or had to be hospitalized.
