South Jakarta Mayor, Marullah Matali symbolically gives aid to fire victims of RW 07, Manggarai Urban Village, Tebet Sub-district, via Manggarai Disaster Preparedness Village (Kampung Siaga Bencana) and local urban village.

"This afternoon, we distribute foods and other basic needs to 1,400 fire victims on the location immediately," he conveyed, Wednesday (7/10).

In this aid distribution, he is accompanied by Tebet Sub-district Head, Dyan Airlangga and Manggarai Urban Village Head, Budi Santoso to visit three shelters in SD Negeri 05, Taufik Hidayah Mosque on Jalan Swadaya I and Nurul Hidayah Mosque on Jalan Swadaya II.

Budi Santoso ensures to distribute logistic aid and others optimally to all victims.

For information, fire guts tens residents houses in 6 RTs of RW 07, Manggarai Urban Village yesterday at 10.54 AM . Fire can be extinguished with help from firefighters and 28 fire trucks. Due to this incident, 300 families or around 1,400 people are homeless.
