It has been noted that around 850 people visit the Jakarta Library and Archive Agency's booth at City Pavilion, Jakarta Fair Kemayoran, JIExpo, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.
Most visitors are kids accompanied by their parents
The booth provides a diverse collection of 550 books ranging from storybooks or fairy tales, picture books and coloring, as well as children's educational games such as puzzle carpets.
"Most visitors are kids accompanied by their parents. Every week, more than 100 kids visit our booth," expressed Library Development and Reading Hobby Acculturation Section Head, Suryanto, Monday (6/24).
There is also Abang None Book that aims to assist kids in activities and socialize and educate about the Library and Archive Agency programs.
"Besides library, we also inform about i-Jakarta and hold socialization by showing the video on our literacy activities," he explained.
One of visitors from Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta, Wido (29), expressed that the booth gives its own color and provides many benefits.
"My kid just sees books as can't read and is very happy and has high interest, including trying educational games," he said.
