A damaged breakwater due to east wind waves on Lancang Island, Pari Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands began to be repaired by involving 17 officers. 

It is targeted to complete by four days ahead. 

"Its damage is spotted on three points of Lancang Island with 57 meters length," expressed Thousand Islands Water Resources Sub-agency Head, Ahmad Saiful, Wednesday (6/12).

After repair, there would be evaluation related to the addition and strengthening of levee that has been built since 2012.

"If it is not repaired, it will result in waves and abrasion," he stated.
