The Car Free Day along Jalan Sudirman and MH Thamrin, Central Jakarta will be stopped temporarily on June 2 and 9, 2019.

Jakarta Transportation Agency Acting Head, Sigit Wijatmoko stated that it is because there will be personnel deployment from Jakarta Provincial Government and Polda Metro Jaya regarding homecoming and returning flow.

"We hope people who want to do exercise can find other alternative places," he expressed, Friday (5/31).

It refers on Gubernatorial Regulation No. 12/2016 on Car Free Day article 5 paragraph 1 that regulates its implementation can be stopped if there is a special event at the same time, either it is national or international.

"I hope people can understand it," he stated.
